Meet Our Teachers
Meet the teachers who care for the children of OSLS preschool - minds, hearts, bodies and souls.
Katie Franks, director
Hey! I’m Katie Franks, My husband Neal and I have two daughters, Payton and Avery. Payton attended OSLS and is starting Kindergarten this year and Avery is in 3K at OSLS. I also attended 30+ years ago. Our Saviour has always held a special place in my heart. I graduated from North Greenville University with a BS in Psychology, minoring in Early Childhood. I am a life long member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and going to Clemson Sporting events. We are huge Clemson fans. Go Tigers!
Terri vanselow, k2 teacher
I have worked for Our Saviour for 20 years. I love working with young children and helping them grow. I have had several different roles here, but I am currently the 2K teacher. I am married with 3 grown boys and am a grandmother (nana) and a great grandmother.
I am a member and the nursery attendant here at The Lutheran Church of Our Saviour.
As a 2K teacher, I help parents raise kids who are kind and know how to work with others. I believe building a good foundation is the key to loving and doing well in school for the lifetime of the child.
Kerrie Azbell, k3 teacher
My name is Kerrie Azbell and I am the 3K teacher here at Our Saviour Lutheran School. I have been teaching here since 2015. My family and I moved here from Ohio in the spring of 2014 to help my brother open The Southern Growl. We love it here in South Carolina. My husband Jason and I got married in 2006 and we have 3 beautiful daughters, Rosalie, Lilly and Jovie. Both of my older daughters attended OSLS for preschool. In addition to teaching, I love hiking with my family, crocheting, and scrapbooking. My family and I are members of Prince of Peace Catholic Church where I help teach Religious Education.
Kristen pittman, K4 teacher
I grew up here in Greenville and have a Bachelors Degree from Anderson University and a Masters Degree from Liberty University. I have worked with children of all ages and find great joy in helping families learn and grow!
My husband and I are members and volunteers at Newspring Church. We have three daughters who keep us very busy but in our free time we enjoy traveling, bee keeping, and CLEMSON sports!
Sadie Domingues, K3 Assistant Teacher
Hi! I’m Sadie Domingues and I’m so excited to be joining the OSLS family this year after many years of working with children as a nanny and nursery assistant at my church. My husband, Jonathan, and I are blessed with 2 beautiful little girls that fill our days with adventure and joy. When I’m not working or doing the mom thing, you’ll typically find me with my nose in a book. I’m passionate about early literacy and building a child’s foundation in a love of books and reading!
